Lady Gaga and Versace Team Up for a Stunning Capsule Collection

Lady Gaga and Versace Team Up for a Stunning Capsule Collection

| Post by Amiebenomo Nizar |

Check out the new Versace collection in collaboration with lady Gaga

Lady Gaga may love many labels, but she’s always had a special place in her heart for Versace. In previous years she’s expressed her affinity for the brand by wearing custom looks during her 2017 Super Bowl performance, appearing in the Spring 2014 collection ads, and dedicating a track on ArtPop to Donatella. But

today Gaga announced her most meaningful Versace collaboration to date. To celebrate Pride and the tenth anniversary of Born This Way, Gaga and Donatella teamed up for a capsule collection benefiting the Born This Way Foundation, the singer’s charity dedicated to mental health support for young people, particularly LGBTQIA youth.

The first half of the collaboration consists of a specially designed t-shirt and matching beret that features rainbow shades and the house’s iconic Medusa logo. Both will be sold on Versace’s website starting today, but the pièce de résistance is a custom replica of the Versace leather jacket Gaga wore during her Born This Way Ball tour. With its sharp shoulders and metal mesh, the piece was the standout of her performance wardrobe

The new version, which took 400 hours to make by hand in Versace’s Milan atelier, promises to be as striking as the original. Whether it will break records when it hits the auction block on June 1st remains to be seen, but it’s sure to garner interest from collectors.

Given their longstanding friendship and the charitable nature of the collaboration, Gaga and Donatella were eager to share their excitement over the project with the world. “Versace has always been a leader. Since Gianni, Donatella, Allegra, and still now, they have celebrated the beautiful colors of love we have within us,” Gaga wrote in an Instagram update where she posed in both the beret and t-shirt. Donatella’s response was similarly upbeat. “Gaga and her foundation are so inspiring,” the designer wrote in a statement. “Our friendship and our efforts to promote equality, diversity, and inclusion have only become stronger with time.”

In 2021 Fashion now trends with animals. Check this out, Tika The Iggy The Italian Greyhound dog rock in a  Fashion outfit ..you can also make  your 🐕 dog look Fashionable

It’s not every day that Vogue decides   to interview an animal. But Tika isn’t just any animal. Tika is an Italian greyhound that will stun you with her taste in fashion and her style. She’s the hottest doggy fashionista of the year and a self-proclaimed gay icon. Tika lives in Montreal, Canada, and if you are passionate about fashion and dream of reaching any kind of success in life, you better listen up to what Tika has to say.

Tika has a million followers on Instagram and 1,1m on TikTok, she has her own merch, fans all over the world, and now a feature in Vogue. She’s basically made it. She slays both in photos and videos, she’s a trendsetter and an inspiration.

At this point, we’re pretty sure Tika can get an invite to fashion week in Paris or London if she wanted to. We’re thinking of either front row seats or perhaps even a walk on the runway for a luxury fashion brand

Speaking of fashion brands, in her interview with Vogue, Tika revealed that her dream brand to work with would be Valentino, and her ultimate style icon is Celine Dion.

While most of us are spending our quarantine days in sweatpants Tika still tried to push fashion boundaries and dresses up every day. She’s all about fitted athleisure, and the brighter the better. Tika truly likes mixing colors and textures. You know you’ve got a knack for fashion when instead of dressing basic at home, you go for outfits that could be seen as “too much”. .

E Choke: Designer Shares Inspiration Behind Outfit with Hand Design Around His Neck,

Until village people activate the hand” – Reactions as man rocks Davido’s ‘E Choke’ inspired outfit

A Nigerian Twitter user, identified as @Aremupokipoki1, took to the platform to share a photo of himself rocking the outfit which had the design of a hand, perfectly illustrating the catchphrase, “E choke”.
Sharing a photo of himself rocking the creative piece which had a hand reaching for his throat, he captioned the photo, “Who Dey Breeet? e choke.”

The photo has since stirred tons of reactions online, while some netizens applauded the creativity of the designer some worried about the hand actually becoming real and choking the fellow.

See reactions below,

Meanwhile, the singer has declared his intention to get his now-popular catchphrase ‘e choke’ copyrighted.

According to the “Jowo” crooner, it is pertinent that he does this because the usage is getting out of hand.

Admittedly, the phrase has travelled beyond the shores of the country and just a few days ago, Canadian rapper, Drake, was caught on camera using the catchphrase after meeting Davido.

His tweet reads,

Gotta get ‘e choke’ copyrighted it’s getting outta

Gigi Hadid Just Revealed Her Beauty Routine and a New Tattoo for Her Daughter

Gigi Hadid Just Revealed Her Beauty Routine and a New Tattoo for Her Daughter

Gigi Hadid just shared a ton of her beauty secrets, and honestly, they're way simpler than we would have thought. In the latest installment of Vogue's Beauty Secrets video series published on February 4, the model and new mom walked fans through the post-baby beauty routine she's been relying on for the rare moments she's able to indulge in a little "me" time. But it's not all pricey serums and creams—Hadid revealed in the video that her routine has always included lots of drugstore finds like Cetaphil's Daily Facial Cleanser ($12) and old-school tricks like covering zits with toothpaste to dry them out overnight. "I always just wanted good products, and I don't think that you have to pay a lot for that," she remarked. Now that her time is presumably more occupied with laying kisses on Khai, her newborn daughter with singer Zayn Malik, we weren't surprised to learn that her skin and makeup routines have been majorly simplified.

In the months since her pregnancy—a time when, Hadid admitted in the video, she used mostly clean and natural products (she called out the skincare brand Oliveda as her go-to)—she said she's transitioned to her winter routine, which consists of thicker moisturizers to support her dry skin, like this Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Cream.

Aside from tons of expert makeup tips the 25-year-old has picked up backstage at fashion shows and from fellow models like Joan Smalls, another revelation that came from the video was that Hadid got some new ink! While demonstrating how she uses her fingers to apply foundation, the new mom gave viewers a quick glimpse at the dainty tattoo on her inner arm, and the internet quickly identified it as a match to a tattoo her partner Malik also has. The best part? The matching tats reportedly say their daughter Khai's name in Arabic! We're loving this sweet tribute and can't wait to see what other ways the couple plans to commemorate the birth of their daughter. But for now, we'd recommend that Hadid pick up some tattoo care, like Woo Skin Essentials' Gentle Cleansing Soap and After/Care Moisturizer to keep the delicate script looking pristine. (Internet, do your thing and get word to our girl, would you?)

French First Lady Brigitte Macron Leads Mourners at Pierre Cardin Funeral Mass

| post by Amiebenomo Nizar |

PARIS — Mourners led by French First Lady Brigitte Macron gathered at the Madeleine Church in Paris on Friday for a funeral mass for Pierre Cardin, who died last month at the age of 98.

His great-nephew and heir, Rodrigo Basilicati Cardin, was joined by members of Cardin’s inner circle including Jean-Pascal Hesse, his director of communications; Maryse Gaspard, director of haute couture, and Pierre Pelegry, director of Maxim’s restaurant.

Basilicati Cardin, who was named chief executive officer of the Cardin brand last October, said Macron had requested a meeting with his great-uncle, whose headquarters are across from the Elysée presidential palace in Paris, shortly before his death, but Cardin was too ill by that time to see her.

“I thanked her for being here today to represent France. I felt she was sincere,” he told WWD after the ceremony. “I think Pierre Cardin deserved it, because he represented French couture worldwide. He always said that France made him who he was, so I thought it was very kind and decent of her.”

Macron accessorized her Louis Vuitton cape coat, trousers and boots with electric blue leather gloves that matched the color of her face mask.

Meanwhile, members of the Académie des Beaux-Arts, known as Immortals, donned their ceremonial jackets, embroidered with olive branches, to bid a final farewell to Cardin, who in 1992 became the first fashion designer elected for life to the prestigious institution.

7 RAPPERS WITH THE MOST EXPENSIVE BLING

7 RAPPERS WITH THE MOST EXPENSIVE BLING

7. WAKA FLOCKA

FOZZIE BEAR CHAIN

$120,000

Waka Flocka Flame’s real name is Juaquin James Malphurs. He sky rocketed into rap stardom in 2009 when he had 2 singles, “No Hands” and “Hard in da Paint” make it on the Top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Malphurs got his stage name from the catch phrase “waka waka”  said by Fozzie Bear, who is one of Jim Henson’s Muppet creations (along with Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy). That’s why he replicated Fozzie Bear in all gold and diamonds and put him on a chain to wear. It cost Waka a cool $120,000 but it looks sick so it was worth it.

6. JAY Z

11 LB CUBAN GOLD CHAIN

$200,000

Jay Z first wore his massive 11 pound Cuban gold chain at the So So Def 20th anniversary concert in 2013. This bling is crazy big, it says a lot while still being simple and classy. The piece was made by Rafaello & Co who claims to only make jewelry fit for kings. I guess that’s why Jay-Z is sporting this beast which cost him $200,000.

5. KANYE WEST

HORUS CHAIN

$300,000

Whether you think Kanye is a genius or not, there’s no doubt that the man is very talented. His career can speak for itself. Now, there’s no denying that sometimes Kanye can have sometimes have “out there” ideas. Like perhaps when he decided to have a near life-sized head of the Egyptian god Horus on a chain to rock out with on stage. The Horus chain was designed by Jacob the Jeweler and had a price tag of 300k. That sh** KRAY for real. I can’t even guess how much that thing weighs. Here's a YouTube link to watch his video

https://youtu.be/L53gjP-TtGE

4 .TAKEOFF

SOLAR SYSTEM CHAIN

$500,000

Takeoff from the hip-hop group Migos got the whole damn solar system around his neck. I mean his name is Takeoff so it does make sense. The chain cost him half a million dollars. It shows the space shuttle with the YRN insignia blasting off towards the sun with the rest of the planets on the chain as well. Everything is just absolutely covered in diamonds, it’s insane.

3. SOULJA BOY

THE WORLD IS YOURS CHAIN

$500,000

Soulja Boy was just 17 when his first single “Crank That” made him a giant star literally over night. So it make sense he would sport a chain with the saying “The World is Yours” to keep the inspiration going. The chain is encrusted with white diamonds and is worth $500,000. Soulja has said he has spent over 3 million on jewelry alone. I believe it.

2. PHARRELL

N.E.R.D. CHAIN

$1,000,000

The singer Pharrell spent one million bucks on a chain with his band’s N.E.R.D. logo on it, showing little caricatures of him and his two band mates smothered in colored diamonds. Jacob the Jeweler made the piece and it’s one of the most expensive in the world.

1. RICK ROSS

CHAIN OF HIMSELF

$1.5 M

The rapper Rick Ross is known for living an extravagant lifestyle. He must own almost his own weight in custom jewelry. His flagship piece is a chain of his own face. Lot’s of rappers get lots of chains of lots of things but Ross changed the game when he put himself in his bling. He did it right too, spending 1.5 million to ensure it was the best.
